Kern Health Systems

The Kern Health Systems building is a four story, 110,000 square foot, Class “A” office building located on the corner of Buck Owens Boulevard and Sillect Avenue, right next to the Bakersfield Sign. The building houses the administration staff for the Kern Family Healthcare system.  Designed by Delawie Architects of San Diego, the architecture features an innovative design with a central courtyard and extensive exterior glass that maximizes natural light.  The building is in the process of obtaining LEED Silver certification.  The general contractor was S.C. Anderson, Inc. with Bynum, Inc. as the project developer.
